A new HERA series bringing advanced aviation closer to everyone
We are excited to announce the launch of TechTalk: From Experts to All, a brand-new HERA series designed to translate complex aviation research into engaging, accessible conversations for a wider audience. This initiative introduces a fresh dissemination approach that transforms technical insights into compelling storytelling—bridging the gap between expert knowledge and public understanding.
At the heart of this series is an innovative format: original expert interviews are reimagined into dynamic, dialogue-style scripts, enhanced through AI-generated narration.
Episode 1 – UERA: Vision & Challenges
The series kicks off with Episode 1, focusing on the vision and challenges behind the Ultra Efficient Regional Aircraft (UERA). This episode explores the progress achieved within Use Case A, presenting an 80-passenger hybrid-electric aircraft concept powered by fuel cells.
Through an engaging dialogue, listeners are introduced to key technological challenges, including the integration of hybrid propulsion systems, advanced electrical distribution, and hydrogen thermal management. The episode also highlights innovative design features such as high-aspect-ratio wings and emerging propulsion concepts that aim to enhance efficiency and sustainability.
