POLITECNICO DI TORINO

Politecnico di Torino (PoliTo) is one of the most important universities in Europe for engineering and architecture studies. With more than 400 bilateral international agreements and 100 double-degree agreements, it has links with the most prestigious Universities in Europe. In 2020 it has been ranked by the QS World University Ranking as the 33rd Engineering and Technology University in the world and in 2021 as the 1st one in the Graduate Employability Ranking. Polito has a faculty staff of 959 professors and researchers, with 889 administrative employees. It counts about 35,700 students following Bachelor and Master courses in all the fields of Engineering and Architecture and about 700 Ph.D. students. In 2020 the overall budget of Politecnico has been of 263 M€. Since 2014 Politecnico’s researchers have been involved in 341 European and International projects with a funded budget of 115 M€. The Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering (DIMEAS) is the point of reference in Politecnico di Torino for promoting, coordinating, and managing theoretical and applied research, training, technology transfer, and services regarding the automotive, aeronautical, rail, food, and agricultural, textile and industrial plant sectors.
