MTU has started research and development on two future propulsion systems supporting climate neutral flight, the Flying Fuel Cell and the Water-Enhanced Turbofan. These two systems cover the whole range of aircraft enabling their application to eradicate aviation´s climate impact. MTU will demonstrate both these propulsion systems in the Clean Aviation timeframe.
